Wild Bees – how do they protect their offspring?

Most wild bees live solitary. They have special tricks to protect their offspring. Many bee species build nests in the ground, others lay their eggs in holes in walls. Larvae hatch from the eggs and eat the collected pollen until they transform into bees.
