Behind the white Baltic Sea beaches, between Germany and Poland, lies a boundless wilderness, the Oder delta. A landscape of superlatives and unique in its importance in Central Europe. Wild herds of bison live there, several packs of wolves, hundreds of beavers and it is Europe's largest breeding area for white-tailed eagles. This is an example of what happens when you give nature space and time to unfold and trust in natural cycles.
